Merlin’s manservant status was upgraded to Arthur’s bedwarmer.

Arthur likes necks.

Merlin hides Arthur’s love bites—or Merlin’s “Royal Branding” as Arthur would like to call it.

So he uses neckerchiefs.

Ta-da. Voila.
